RadBus Oberes Sauertal
With the RadBus Oberes Sauerland (Bus No. 431), you can comfortably sit back and enjoy the stretch between Irrel and Bollendorf, and then, for example, in Bollendorf begin your tour by following the Sauer Valley cycle path in the direction of the Moselle.
The RadBus runs daily, with up to 7 journeys from Irrel to Biesdorf. If, however, you are travelling with the RadBus Oberes Sauerthal from Bollendorf to Irrel, then you can change to the RadBus Nimstal (Bus No. 420) to go on to Trier, where you will link up with the regional rail network. The connecting journey with the RadBus Nimstal is available to you cost-free, however, you still have to book it as an additional journey and add it to the shopping basket. For every journey, 5 bikes can be transported on the rear bike carrier. Please note, however, it is not possible to take electric bikes on the RadBus Oberes Sauerland route.
