The Lahntalradweg from Gießen via Limburg an der Lahn to Niederlahnstein at the Rhine is a bit too long for a day trip - but this is the beautiful section between Limburg an der Lahn and Niederlahnstein or Koblenz. And for a long time now, the bicycle transport option of the Lahntalbahn between Koblenz and Limburg an der Lahn, which ist now more comfortable for cyclists, has been a great help here.

On saturdays, sundays and on public holidays, bike rinks between 30 March and 3 November will require a reservation in each direction for one morning trip and one evening trip - so you have your bike seat safely. You do not have to cycle the entire route between Limburg an der Lahn and Koblenz, but you can start or end your tour at one of the intermediate stations.

Up to 15 bicycles can be taken in the bicycle compartment of the train. Please note the reservation obligation of the bookable rides before you board your train. The reservation deadline is 14:30 on Friday and the day before a public holiday.
